Technology to support care delivery in Wales

Date: 01st Nov 2017

Like other parts of the UK, Wales is balancing an increased demand for services with public spending constraints.  One of the key strands of Social Care Wales’ strategic plan 2017-22  is ‘leading and supporting improvement’. CM2000 have identified an appetite for more information about the latest technology innovations that can contribute to prevention, regional benchmarking, outcomes-based commissioning  and improving Service User communication / feedback.

As a result, the well-established healthcare technology provider is running some free half day seminars to share information and latest thinking.

Delegates will hear how pioneering predictive analytics modelling, innovative wearable technology and health and social care data are being combined to identify risks, particularly risk of falling, earlier in the care cycle. Prevention is essential for the sustainability of the health and social care system and we’ll be discussing the exciting results of trials of this technology in Scotland.

Wales’ legislation places an emphasis on high-quality and sustainable social care provision. CM2000 areworking with the East Region of the Association of Directors of Adult Social Services to revolutionise Provider assessment and market management. With further regional roll-outs underway, this solution has great potential for standardising data collection and quality benchmarking across Wales, resulting in more effective market oversight and reducing the risk of Provider failure.

CM2000 have been at the forefront of technology to enable outcomes-based commissioning for many years. One of the biggest challenges has been achieving a realistic and fair payment model. At the seminarwe’ll be demonstrating our Outcomes Assessment Platform and discussing how it is being used to achieve the desired results.

Gaining regular feedback from Service Users and their full circle of support is extremely valuable for monitoring quality, customer satisfaction and informing commissioning decisions. Our online tool now makes this quick and easy – giving them the strong voice they deserve.

The events are taking place in South Wales on 15th November and North Wales on 23rd November.Register for a free place here.
