CM2000 Account Manager, Ram Singh, attended the heart-warming ‘Dignity in Care Awards’ organised by Staffordshire County Council on 2nd August.
The National Dignity Council campaign’s core values are about having dignity in our hearts, minds and actions. Staffordshire’s vision is to be a place where everyone has the opportunity to prosper, be healthy and happy and to improve quality of life for all. Support built around the person and services of the highest quality all demonstrate respect, dignity and fairness.
As the Council’s chosen homecare monitoring supplier, CM2000 were delighted to support the awards by providing prizes for each of the award winners. Categories covered Learning, Community, Creativity, Young Dignity Champion and Carer.
Ram met some of the extraordinary individuals who were recognised for their outstanding work during the day.
Ram commented “It was great to be part of an event that rewards the unsung heroes of the care sector in Staffordshire. There are some amazing stories about compassionate individuals who make a real difference to the lives of people who need care and support.”
Charlotte Murphy, Development & Engagement Officer for Staffordshire County Council said “Staffordshire County Council were delighted to have been able to host the Dignity in Care Awards for another year running. This has been greatly supported by CM2000 and without them and other organisations, including Newcastle College, we wouldn’t have been able to host them. The Dignity in Care Awards provide an opportunity to recognise and reward those people whose actions make a difference and serve as an example to others. Well done to everyone that was nominated for an award!”
