Sandwell Community Care Trust (SCCT), a registered charity and a Social Enterprise, was created in 1997 to provide services for adults and children across the Black Country. Born out of Local Authority, SCCT has historically provided Supported Living, Residential Care, and Respite Care for adults and children with profound learning and physical disabilities. In 2008, SCCT won a contract to transfer existing in-house Residential Care and Domiciliary Care services within Torbay. SCCT now delivers 1500 hours of Domiciliary Care per week to over 200 clients. Nationally, SCCT employs over 450 staff looking after more than 600 service users.
