On 23rd April CM2000 staged a special one
day conference on personalisation attended by 50 delegates from 25
Councils.
The conference featured presentations from the Department of
Health and a number of leading independent consultants as well as a
number of workshops designed to help delegates understand in
practical terms what personalisation might look like for their
Council, and how systems might best be developed to help make the
different elements of the Personalisation Agenda a reality.
Peter Longman said, "most Councils are acutely aware of the need
to put in place systems to service and monitor self directed,
outcomes based support. At CM2000 we are working in partnership
with Councils to develop a number of systems and services to ensure
we can deliver a totally flexible and comprehensive scheduling and
monitoring service which will allow councils to plan, monitor and
evaluate home care delivery together with other elements of
individual support packages in this new environment".
As a direct follow-up to the event CM2000 will be staging a day
long workshop to help Councils develop a framework for creating an
on-line Resource Directory.
