The new year has already brought much discussion on the future
of the social care system.
In an open letter to the Telegraph over 60 key opinion formers
wrote "We urge the Government and the other party leaders to seize
this opportunity for urgent, fundamental and lasting reform:
delivering a social care system which can provide the well-funded
and high-quality care and support we would all expect for ourselves
and our families."
Significant concerns exist over how the care system will be
funded in the future whilst ensuring dignity and independence for
those requiring care.
With a White Paper due in April, the reform of the social care
system will remain under the spotlight.
CM2000 have been at the heart of the social care market for over
10 years, helping Local Authorities save money whilst providing
valuable real-time data to safeguard individuals. As a quality
tool, CM2000's electronic monitoring system alerts users to late or
missed visits and monitors some of the things that matter most to
older and disabled people like continuity of care.
